The Midwest Antique Aircraft Club flew into the New Holstein Airport for their Regular Meeting. Although we didn't help out at this one, the new FBO put on a great feast for all attending!

Our first Pizza Flyin was a great success! The weather could not have been better. We had a lot of pilots fly in from all over the state to share some food and fellowship and trade hanger flying stories! Many thanks to all who helped out, especially Reinl Distributing / Luiges Pizza, for donating the use of their Ice Box truck and allowing us a special discount on the Pizzas we consumed at the Fly-In.
The May 6th Fly-In turned out to be a great gettogether. Fine weather and overall clear skies helped to bring about 15 airplanes to New Holstein airport and about 60-70 people to feast on the Hot Dog Banquet! Many thanks to all Chapter members who helped set up, serve food, and tear down and clean up. A big thanks to all the gang at the airport too.

Well, sort of. Mother nature once again spread her spell with a wicked
weekend of weather for February 25th. The forecast was for freezing rain,
snow and blustery conditions. Typical Wisconsin flying weather! On the Saturday
prior to the event a decision was made to call off most of the activities
and post notice on the web site, but still have coffee and doughnuts handy
for those hearty souls who might brave the weather
.
And brave they did! Almost 25 people drove in for the Fly-In and one plane actually flew in despite 30+ knot crosswinds! Wow. It goes to show you cant under-estimate how far all of us, who love aviation, will go to get-together. All in all it was a great time despite the weather. Special thanks to John Nottling for making sure the airport was up to snuff and to Tom Schwartz, Barb and Neal Tausheck and Al and Barb Wirkus for bringing goodies along to share! During the fly-in we had a door prize of a Memphis Belle Video which was won by Roland Olm.
